I'm getting laminate wooden floors installed in my house, i check the floors and their fairly level, but there are some imperfections and uneven spots in the floor.

Will the underlay take care of this or do I need to use the self levelling compound for floors or I've seem matts that do down under the laminate, but they look very thick?

The laminate floor will be 8.5mm thick
