    Anywhere that accepts Visa does.

All a 3v card is, is a disposable visa number.

    Hope this helps.

Yea, I asked dabs.ie on that chat service the woman said we dont offer those..

I had asked do you accept them?

I dunno I suppose I could try it, if it didn't work though and I lost my money I don't think it can be refunded to the voucher :O

I want to buy something of them and see if there service is any good... if it is ill buy the rest of my pc off them!

it just acts like a credit card. the problem arises with refunds, since the credit only goes one way.

They usually don't get the money for awhile anyway, they just reserve it from what i can tell. I've had money put back on my card as it hasn't technically been taken. I was told this by 3V when i got a refund for something last year.

I don't know how long it takes before they actually take it tho.

As long as you dont have to produce the card, such as hotel or car hire etc, it works 100%

If you must produce your card, forget it, but for what you describe, it should work fine

By the way, if its declined, the credit CAN be put back on your account!
"When you buy goods or services using a credit or debit card, the retailer will reserve the funds for the transaction for a short time - they do this so that you cannot use those funds to buy other goods or services while they process your order. Once they have dispatched the goods or services, they complete the transaction by taking the money from your credit or debit card. Exactly the same happens when you use a 3V Voucher.

If the retailer cancels your order, it will normally take them several days to return the money to you. It will be returned to your 3V Voucher account automatically 7 to 10 days after you made the purchase (but then retailer cancelled). While the money is still held by the retailer, you will not be able to spend them elsewhere but once they are released back to you, the value on your 3V Voucher will increase by that amount and is then available for you to use."

    Taken from 3V site

I'd be interested to know if overclockers.co.uk accepts them?
