    Can you rf out to a splitter and watch different channels with one box or do you need a box in each room? Haven't seen the stb yet.

    No, the channels need to be decoded by the stb. You will need a box in each room you wish to watch different channels.
    You can split the output, but there really isnt any point as you will be watching the same channel.

    If there are unscrambled analogue channels on the network that troyblue has (doesn't say where), they should be present as well on the RF out

    yep got it today can see that now ...btw RTE has really crappy resolution on this system?
