    Had to pull out of a land deal we really wanted to work out, which had dragged on for nearly two years. The market looks significantly different to when we were last looking. I've only started to look again in the last two weeks. I'm a FTBer. Anybody got thoughts on the residential property market on Dublin's hinterland...Meath, Louth, Kildare, Wicklow? Is it a good time to buy or should I hold fire? I've a feeling that the market is a bit shakey at the moment, but who knows for how long...

    There was an updated daft.ie report commented on in the Sunday times yesterday, should be available on web... strong indicaton that the slowdown is already in progress....property values in all of dublin, meath, kildare, wicklow have declined in last quarter, laois,carlow and cork values still growing slightly - value everywhere else has gone down...
