Hi was wondering if there is anything you can use the blacken the back of the fireplace i.e. the inside of the chimney that is visible. Just used black enamel to paint around the fireplace but it make the chimney stand out. any suggestions welcome. cheers

I used a can of spray from B&Q i think that is meant for barbecues. It sprays on black and you can do the whole back without it being noticeble. You will however have to respray if using the fire.
