    Hi there,
Just wanted to ask before i solicit any opinions, i am looking to buy a flash storage device for my NDS Lite, mostly to play SNES ROM's on.

1 - Am I allowed to discuss this on here?
2 - If so, does anybody have any recommendations?

    Thanks,
    Paul.

The answers are in the charter. No discussion of where to get roms allowed. Discussion of flashcards and such allowed as long as they can be used for homebrew purposes.

I have an M3 Simply (link). Perfect for homebrew stuff. I see that a stable version of SNEmulDS came out this morning. Looking forward to checking it out tonight.

For flashcard comparisons, check the comparison charts on GBAtemp (great site for homebrew and flash card news).

(Although ROM release info is published on that site, they don't tell you where to get them, so it should be OK to link)

Why is The disscussion of ROM's not allowed ?? As far as Im aware ROMs are legal as long as you own a hardcopy of teh game and console.

Discussion of roms is fine, asking and lnking to where you get them isn't. The legality of owning a hardcopy of the game and a rom is a very grey area of the law siding with illegal. In any case linking to roms could be used by a somebody to shut down boards.ie which none of us want.

Well, currently I'm looking into getting one of these

    http://www.ds-x.com/cgi-bin/dsx/engine.pl?page=home

Its an all in one device. So there's no need for pass me's and all that.

At the moment the card is 512mb big. Not exactly massive. But there's a larger one being released sometime soon.

Also got an MP Simply today - very pleased with it. Luckily I managed to track down a Kingston 1Gb MicroSD card that's made in Japan - apparently ones made in other countries don't work quiet as well. My only complaint is that the micro SD card mechanism seems a bit flimsy - I read somewhere that it should last provided you're very gentle with it.
