I'm thinking of getting this as it looks like a good deal to me.

    Any thoughts?

Got one last year (looks identical to the picture) - works great. Haven't used it a huge number of times, but it's quiet powerful - used it to clean my deck and it was a lot more effective that some of the smaller "big brand" ones I've used before.

From reading the spec and comparing you'd be into serious money to get an equivalent machine elsewhere. I think I'll give it a go. I'll be using it on the driveway/path, deck, garden walls and cars.

Like other poster, i got one last year and very pleased. Savage power and good attachments. You'll save a fortune on car washes and also good for the deck/driveway. You wont find any as good as this at that price!! A must for your shed!!

Got one of these this morning and there good value. Great power for that kinda money. Includes 3 lances: standard lance, adjustable lance and a brushhead lance.

The standard lance is great for washing decking and pavements as it kinda weaves a thin powerful beam of water in a circular pattern, Really beats dirt and stuff off the path.

    Very good value IMO.;)

Sure looks to be good value. Pity they're not selling a hose to connect to the tap also.

I bought one of these last night in Kildare and they had 5 left so they may not be gone. I haven't done anything more than the assembly job as I need to get a garden hose to be able to connect a water supply to it. Seems to be well made though.

I got one of these but am having trouble to activate the suds. As the booklet says I start it on low pressure but get very little suds (tech. term!) mixed in with the water. I poured the bottle in straight and am now wondering should it be diluted? Anyone else have this problem? Thanks

Never tried it with suds yet but just read the bottle and i think is says to dilute!!

I'm actually having a problem with them too.

After about half an hour of operation the machine just cuts out and wont start for about another half hour. Brought it back to Lidl and got another and its doing the same thing!!!
Tried a few different power outlets however no joy.

Has anyone used this machine for around an hour or more non stop without it cutting out???

Any help would be great, cheers.

Have had mine for over a year now and have used it regularly for periods of greater than an hour. Only thing i could think of is that your water pressure might be too low?? Make sure hose isn;t too long and not kinked. I always turn the tap on a few minutes before i turn the powerwasher on in order to prime the line and its not sucking air.
    Hope that helps.

Never bothered with the suds thing as much more effective pouring/spraying detergent on your subject i.e. car etc

Had a similar problem with a different brand of power washer, that was definitely related to low water pressure.

Just put this one together last night, will be giving it a run-out this evening.

Yeah - but I had problems the first time with water pressure - the tap wasn't supplying water as fast as the machine was using it. It would run for a while then cut out, waiting a minute or two it would start again but cut out quickly. Waiting a bit longer (for the internal tank to refill) meant you could use it for longer.

In the end we found that you needed a lot of water pressure in the hose to keep up with the machine - requires two people really: one to operate the machine and another to stand over the tap - our hose had a tendency to disconnect when the machine was stopped and the pressure in the hose got too high.

Probably all gone now... I thought it was for Thursday..

got one of these in Sligo yesterday, were about 4 left. You might pick them up in another shop. They all looked as if they had been opened so may be returns.............

    Thanks lads for your help.
I had tought that it might be down to water pressure too but the thing that throws me a bit is that it works perfectly for around half an hour and then cuts out. It doesnt chugg at the water or anything during this period.

Another thing I noticed is that after the machine cuts out, the main body of the machine is warm. It seems to need to cool down before it'll work again.
Not sure what to do with it. Might try a shorter hose.

Do you get a sudden increase in the noise from the motor just before it quits? Thinking back on it now, this may have happened to me once as well... I think it may have had some issue with detecting the fact that it's out of water.....

No increase in noise, it just stops dead.
I always thought our water pressure was ok but we do have a fairly long hose attached. Ill try a shorter one. Any other ways of increasing water pressure?

If all else fails, I'll bring it back to lidl.

I was under the impression that the water from the hose would be enough to dilute the mixture. Anyone use the suds feature on the washer?
Will manually apply suds as suggested in the meantime.
    Thanks

I used Zip WashWax suds with it. Set the hose to low pressure and it worked fine. Mind you, it wasn't as sudsy as i'd hoped but I think thats Zip's fault
