if any is with vodafone use vodafone mail. it will send you a text everytime you've got an e-mail and it sends an e-mail instantly unlike hotmail. someone sent me an e-mail at 2 o'clock and i haven't got it yet

It is very handy. I forward my gmails to it for that reason then just empty the account from time to time.

Ah yes the joy of receiving 50+ texts a day telling me about OEM software sales, half-price generic viagra, and investment opportunities in the asian stock markets...
Phones are enough of a pain in the arse as it is thanks...

filter it through gmail and their pretty good spam filters. I don't give out my vodafone email address so can be selective as to what i get notified about. It really is handy. especially since you can check gmail via wap on your mobile if you know there's an important email.

I don't have or want gmail...allow me to wallow in spam damnit!

Nah seriously, I'm sure it's very handy if email is that important to you or your work...personally I can wait till I get home to catch up with whatever is in my inbox. Besides I gave up vodafone a long long time ago and it'll be a cold day in hell before I darken their door again...
