    I've installed Wolfenstein, the free online version. Enemy Territory. It won't work.

    All that comes up in a box which says "ET Console" and says it could not load OpenGL subsystem.

    What is going on? :confused:

    It sounds like it's trying to run using Glide, i.e. the yoke for old 3dfx cards (Voodoo2, etc.). Do you have one of these? If so you need to get the glide driver yokes - (I forget what exactly, but there's some files you usually had to copy to games. Can you change the video settings?

    What graphics card do you have it's not a 3dfx one? If it's some onboard Intel yoke, there's a chance it can't do OpenGL at all.
