    $2.50/$5, 6 max.

    BB $89
    ME $400
    Villian $1350

I pick up 10 10 UTG and make it 28 to go, Villian calls from the CO, BB goes all in for $89.

Action back on me - Is this a good spot for me to shove and isolate?

You raised to much in the first instance, you are betting $28 to win $7.50. Its also a very bad amount to raise with TT or JJ as its standard practice by players to raise more with these holding utg than with AA or KK, so you are giving your hand away if anyone is paying attention.

I think you should shove unless the CO is likely to have cold called with a big pair.

    no history with villian

28 has been my standard raise in an unopened pot from all positions 4.5BB's - is this too much?

I would rarely open for any much more than pot-sized raise, BCB. $17.50 or $20 would be my standard @ $2.50-5 when I'm opening UTG, with an extra fiver added for each limper when I'm raising from closer in.

Agree with other replies so far that it's a shove now. Unlucky if the cold caller has you beat; you can expect to be almost always ahead of the squeezer.

I didnt shove, and was kicking myself for not doing so.

Flop came Axx, he wins pot with AQ against other players J10.
