Employers obliged to pay sick days?

    Hi
    i'm pretty sure i already know the answer to this one, but....
    is my employer not obliged to pay for some of my sick days? At the moment i get nothing. i had pneumonia and was out of work for 2 weeks with it and I got nothing from my employer.! I mean i was hospitalized!!

    I claimed back on the social....and I got €90 for the two weeks????!!?

    Anyone else know anything bout this?
