Wedges out of baby new potatoes?

I have a bag of baby new potatoes, and a craving for wedges. Can I make wedges out of them, or will it just not work? Normally how I make them is cut the potatoes into wedges, toss them in oil and pop them in a hot oven for about 30 minutes. Would that work with baby new ones? I'm thinking they might be a bit too waxy...

I think it'll work. If they're really small, just halve them.

Oh yeah - they will defo work.

Don't make them too small, or else they will shrivel up.

Okay, I tried it. Definately a bit waxier than I prefer - I like my wedges to be really fluffy. Possibly could have left them in the over a bit longer to help that alone.

It worked, but I'll probably not do it again as long as I have other potatoes available!
