    Здравстуйте!

I'm studying Russian in Trinity College (first year) but I'm only a beginner - I didn't do it for my Leaving Cert. I was wondering what course book people use for Leaving Cert Russian? It's just I don't really like my Russian book for college as it confuses me! It's called Rus' (Русь) - big and purpley. What book is used for LC Russian and where can I buy it?

    Спасибо!

    До свидания! ;)

I was under the impression that the Russian LC isn't really geared for non-native speakers, like how the Japanese LC used to be before they revamped it a couple of years ago?

Спасибо! Я только помещал мою клавиатуру в русский язык и узнал, как напечатать в кириллице. Я нахожу транслитерируемый русский язык очень трудным понять хотя....

And for those who don't know Russian, I said "Thanks. I just put my keyboard into Russian and learnt how to type in cyrillic. I find transliterated Russian very difficult to understand though...." ;)

Hello, I am interested on this topic as I am taking Russian myself for the leaving cert, but as the OP I haven't found any recommended textbook either. Any hints?

    Thanks in advance.
