    WHAT`S THE LINE-UP ?

    Arveene (Clampdown)

Rated as one of Ireland's top DJs, Arveene`s dance floor smashing sets have become stuff of legend. He was recently selected personally by Erol to play in the main room at his Bugged Out! Anniversary show and has also scored a residency at Darren Emerson's Underwater parties. He's no stranger to rocking a crowd, as he's supported luminaries ranging from DJ Premier, to Daft Punk with his wild-styling antics, taking in everything from classic hip hop, dirty electro and indie disco classics. Recently Arveene toured with The Prodigy and Soulwax get asked him to join them on their stage at Hi Fi UK.

After a series of club dates across UK and Europe he founded music collective Clampdown which is primarily about good music from all genres in various venues, the emphasis is on quality and not current trends or fads. Clampdown hits London's famous Lock Tavern in Camden with a bang, first party had Arveene, Andrew Weatherall, James Lavelle and David Holmes rocking the rafters, attendees included Primal Scream and Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich (all dancing!)

"Tipped as the one to watch in Ireland, 26 year old Arveene plays a blend of eletro, funk, techno, reggae and break beat music"
    -Sunday Tribune
"Arvo has played with us a good few times and always buzzes the crowd, I just heard his "Rage Against Arveene" bootleg and its a monster tune that builds and builds then bursts into action but it never relies totally on the original rage song… a killer" - Liam Howlett (Prodigy)

    Johnny Moy (Clampdown)

The Godfather of Irish DJing Johnny Moy is recognised as Irelands leading DJ/promoter with many national awards and international accolades from publications like I-D, The Face, Melody Maker, URB (USA) and Time out (NYC and London).

This man has remixed U2 – the latter using his Elevation mix as their walk on song for the Elevation world tour - David Holmes and Bell X1. Moy was personally chosen as tour DJ for The Chemical Brothers European tour and Death in Vegas UK tour and has played and held residencies in some of the worlds best clubs including Twilo (NYC), Centro Fly (NYC), Groovejet (Miami), Art College (Belfast), Shine (Belfast), Bugged out (Manchester) The End and Heavenly Social (London)

Current Moy projects include co-management of Dublin band Mainline and Arveene. Last year Johnny was appointed talent manager for the Bud Rising music series in Ireland, and has since put on over 150 shows all over the country bringing in acts like Beck, The Zutons, We are scientists, The Spinto band, Tom Vek, Groove Armada, Franz Ferdinand and more.

Johnny Moy also hosts Transmit on Dublin's SPIN 1038 every Saturday night, where he mixes it up with his usual blend of dance, mashups, remixes and whatever he feels like… Well, he is Johnny Moy…

    DJ Scope (ChoiceCuts)

Renowned for his ability to keep a dance floor heaving with his special blend of hip hop, reggae, funk and soul DJ Scope has supported Groove Armada, Basement Jaxx, The Congos and Massive Attack. With a colossal record collection (rumoured to be in the region of some 6,000 records) Scope has garnered a great reputation on the Irish scene for his highly eclectic sets that are sure to keep everybody up on the dancefloor. DJ Scope is also the founding father of ChoiceCuts music promoters who have earned their reputation as Ireland`s premier hip-hop promoters.
Over the last 5 years ChoiceCuts have brought such great live acts as The Breakestra, Quantic Soul Orchestra, Kool Keith, Lord Finesse and Rahzel and DJs like Q-bert, Edan and Rob Swift to top venues all around Dublin
Scope will be joined onstage for part of his set by MC Little Tree (Reggae vocalist) and if their set at DIG at the POD recently was anything to go by this combination could be a showstopper.

    DJ Rizm (ChoiceCuts)

Sharing the turntable duties for the ChoiceCuts corner will be DJ Rizm, who has been receiving a lot of praise internationally of late for his excellent Sonar Mix. After representing Ireland at the Red Bull Music Academy in Rome in 2004 Rizm was invited by the RBMA team over to the Sonar festival in Barcelona in 2006 to spin at Sonar By Day. A nice blend of samples, live edits and great tunes, Rizm dropped his outstanding mix on a sunny Saturday afternoon in the middle of June. Internationally acclaimed by hip-hop curators such as Jazzman Gerald as "the finest summer mixtape of '06" this mix contains some great HipHop, Soul and Funk tracks making an appearance alongside Rizm's own interesting edits and cut 'n' paste mixes.
