    Just heard on Newstalk that Macs Joy is out of the hurdle, pulled a muscle.

    Macs Joy is out of the Smurfit Kappa Champion Hurdle after pulling a muscle.

    Last year's runner-up had been due to work today, but was found to have suffered the setback that will keep him out of Tuesday's showpiece on the opening day of the Cheltenham Festival.

    "He didn't work this morning and he's a non-runner in the Champion Hurdle," said trainer Jessica Harrington.

    "He's pulled a muscle. It's the opposite side to what he had before."

    Bad week or two for Irish horse with WOA, Celestial Wave and now Macs Joy all out.

    It must be an awful time to be a trainer, while trying to keep a horse in good shape they have to pray they don't get injured.

    80s to win but have layed off small bit at 15s and 12s to place and will lay it sun at 4s or 5s was gonna let it ride but i will take the free bet -i will then back it on course will see what the betting without market is like b4 going in again -
