A note Regarding banning and ban lifting procedure

It has come to my attention that some people arent aware of the normal procedure on this board regarding the lifting of bannings,so I'm putting this notice in place in order to make things perfectly clear:

If you are banned for whatever reason, you will usually be asked (unless the ban is permanent or subject to a later review) to pm the moderator who banned you or one of the other moderators to remind them to un ban you when the time is up.
Once the moderator has a chance to do so on receipt of your pm and if warranted, you will be unbanned ASAP.

It is not Usual for a politics mod to reply to your pm,if its only a simple matter of unbanning you so do not expect a reply to the unban reminder pm that you will have sent.
You may or may not get a reply,it will depend on the circumstances of your banning.
So once you have sent one, check within a few hours to see if the politics board is viewable again for you as a registered user.
If it is not,it may mean that there is a technical problem or you may need to pm another mod-But do check if you have access before you do this.
