Do I have a virus??? :(

Hi all,

I kind of asked this question before but I still have the problem.

For some reason I cannot select text on a web page but more annoyingly Office is totally fecked up. When I launch Outlook the Save As window pops up straight away and will not close not matter what I do. So I cant check my mail.

Also, when I open Word document the text where my mouse pointer is positioned is bouncing from left to right really fast.

I tried AVAST, AVG, and various spyware, adaware progs but nothing is detected.

Can anyone help?

You could try reinststalling office, maybe your version has become corrupt if all the visus checks showed up nothing.

Yep, I have un-installed it then re-installed it several times. Its a mystery!

I did have Office 2007 Beta installed aswell and when that time limit on that ran out the problems happened soon after or thereabouts. I am not certain that that may be the cause but it could be.

I also had OpenOffice installed which went beserk aswell so I uninstalled it.

Ok panic over, I figured it out! No virus!
