Airport may be fixed

    Don't want to jinx it but I just downloaded apples new airport update and my signal strength has jumped form 3 to 5 bars to a solid 12!

    Mine's fixed too, wooooHoooooooo! :D I'm also getting 12 bars.

    It certainly took them long enough, I was starting to fear it was a batch of faulty airport cards and there was gonna be a recall. Of course typically enough I had already gone and bought an Netgear switch last week to connect my imac and xbox to my router via ethernet so I don't really need my imac to be wireless anymore :rolleyes:

    12 bars?? wtf?? maybe its different on the laptops... i have a c2d macbook and it has a mximum of 4 bars.. or are you guys looking at a different menu or summat??

    It was giving a solid 12 but after a bit of fiddling with the aerial on my router I am now getting a full fifteen bars!

    Not bad for a 7 meg update.
