Does the fact that the Aincents sowed their wild oates in this.galaxy(); mean that their is in fact no God and I can now throw my copy of the Bible or my collection of vedas or the Koran in the recycling bin.

Maybe our God is their God. Nowhere in the bible does it say all that history stuff happened on this planet.

I think the big question is... was Jesus a gaould(sp?)?

Thats not what happened according to Origin, so its obviously blatently false truths.

Was in physical pain after reading that. I laughed that much I actually fell of my chair.

Stargate is all lies... how could the ancients have been on earth 2,000,000 years ago when we all know that god didn't even create the planet till 6,000 years ago... Or maybe Christians mistook Genesis for the ancients firing the D'akara weapon after the plague? Hmmmmm

The producers stated on one of the DVD commentaries (for S3's "Demons") that they wouldn't tackle the God one in the series for fear of getting burned and that the whole Satan thing there, along with Sokar, was as close as they dared.

But look at the word even - GO'aulD. 'Aul God as in "good 'aul God". Clearly He, being His son as well, was a Goa'uld parasitic worm. Now let's take this theory to the Bible belt shall we and stand about waving one of those snakes..

Oh cmon; does anyone even still care about this show anymore? It has completely lost my interest. Quite a shame when it was *this* close to lifting itself into its own morgue-rack and finally going to sleep

Jesus was clearly a Go'auld. Doesn't the bible say that he died, was then placed in a sarcophagus and rose from the dead? Proof.

    Jesus wasnt a Goa'uld

    He was an Ancient:

Healing Powers: this is common for near-ascended ancients.

Miracles: Most can be explained using ancient technology tbh

Body Rises up to Heaven: He in fact ascended, which is why his body dissapeared.

    :D

But then again, its only a tv show...

I was a huge Stargate fan, and still am to some degree, but I'm always out when the new episodes air. I got to watch one recently where they were mistaken for terrorist in a Museum. It was like watching friends

    Vala "So ..."
    Daniel "Um ..."
    Vala "Should we ..."
    Daniel "You *think*?"

In another episode we were watching Vala and Carter eating cake talking about shopping. It's ceasing to be SciFi, and becoming entertainment.

I was always under the impression that Sci Fi was entertainment. I don't think that I would bother to watch it if I was not entertained.

What I was trying to say that the level of dialogue had sank almost below what 'Friends' used to offer us.
