    Hey Guys,

I'm trying to hunt down a new engine for a FIAT.
The current one is beyond repair and so i need tos ource a replacement.

Is there anyone in Ireland who re re-conditioned engines as i dont wanna have to fork out the 2000euro for a brand new one.

    Cheers Guys

Murphy Engine Overhauls in Cork do that work:

Not the cheapest, but never heard a bad word about them. They used to do the engines for the Navy ships before, possibly still do.

I have a feeling that engine is also used in the Stilo, Bravo and Brava. I may be wrong though. does the sporting have VVT?

Dont think so, its a 1.2 16v Engine. Does it make a difference if it has airconditioning?

doesn't make a difference about the aircon. Consult a FIAT dealer or ask one of the guys at www.fiatforum.com - these guys really know their Fiats.
