    Hello,
I completed a diploma in manufacturing from 1999. I´m now working abroad and need to convert my Dip in some sort of european equivalant? where do i start. Is a dip in Manufacturing the same as an ordinary degree?

as far as I know the only difference between a diploma and an ordinary degree is the name, so just write Ordinary Degree on any CV's or whatever. I can't imagine you'll have to do anything more than that

That's not true. You're not qualified to use the style of a degree-holder. See this document from HETAC.
