Just a quick warning about the new poker software,

Probobly obvious advice but could help someone

I was playing in an internet cafe and when i logged on i took the tick of "remember password" so the person next on the pc I was using wouldnt be able to access me a/c. However when I got home i found that someone did get on and blew all my money in half an hour ($5/$10 game, first hand he raised around $400 on the button only to get reraised all in which he called and it was JJ against his K5o which he lost!! and then there were loads of other stupid plays)

If ur playing in a cafe , when your log off , just log back on to see if your password disapears, because i was careless and now regreting it.

Im tryin to contact paddy power to see if anything can be done!!

Same ting happened to me last night buddy. PP claim that they tested it but i just went to the internet cafe at lunch and logged on and then logged off and when i went to log back on my pw was already input and i did untick the button. My PP bankroll was blown in loads of headsup matches last night

If you contact PPP and this was an obvious chip dump to 1 other player you might have a comeback
Or at least you can follow him around abusing him

Surely not just a coincidence it has happened to two people in a day?

Yea that and also that one of them has :
Here's to alcohol: the cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems.
    as their sig ... :D

Seriously though that is a testable scenario and if it turns out to be a bug and IP Addresses etc. can be checked you should be compensated.

it is also possible that somebody was using a keylogger. im no expert but the way it works is that everything you type is recorded . eg you type xxxpoker.com, then your user name , then your password. the thief then has all your details.

This seems unlikely but if the money was dumped repeatly to the same players it is possible. If this is the case then the thief still has your details.

had a conversation with a friend recently who told me that if i was entering passwords in an internet cafe, i should enter the wrong password several times, then open up several other websites and then enter the correct password. he also said the same thing is possible using your own laptop in a wifi area. the thief can hyjack the network and take all your details.

seems like some scary sh1t to me
