    Hi,
Just got notice of today's iBood. It's for a twin pack of VOIP phones. I have an account with freespeech.ie and I'm wondering will these work with that account or only with Skype (as there is a skype logo on the page).

What I want it for is to be able to make and receive calls with my freespeech.ie account without having to have my laptop on to do so.

I've been told I need an ATA to do so. Does this do the same thing?

    Info here!

    Any feedback would be appreciated:)

Freespeech.ie use SIP as far as I know. Anyone know if this is compatible? :o

Looks like a usb phone to me. Unlikely to work with laptop off. Looks like it is designed for windows messenger. Google around before you buy it.

yeah, don't think it was the right choice. It wasn't sip compatible afaik and would need the laptop on to be used:(
