    Am booking flights soon to visit some friends in Turkey this summer. Decided to go from july 12th-31st although any dates in and around then would be fine.

    Have checked gohop.ie and go4less.ie (did a j1 with them, nightmare company) and the best I have found is to go through paris and come back through Amsterdam for €252. You can fly direct with Turkish Airlines but it's €350 and I'd rather go through the hassle of changing flights and save my €100 for beer.

    Has anybody flown this route before and if so do you have any better suggestions?

    It's very easy to make connections in Schipol and pretty painless in Paris as well. That's a good price.

    Personally, I'd go through Amsterdam. I'd avoid connecting in Paris Charles DeGaulle if I could help it.

    thy.com had some dates return from Dublin-Istanbul for about €260 ish I think.

    BA have some one-way flights (from London) for about £83stg., didn't check the return prices.

    Oh you're going in july... hmm well I would check BA anyway.
