His price would indicate a switch to the Ryanair, the Trainer is concerned he won't get the trip in the Gold Cup on testing ground.

Yep, likely to be the Ryanair Chase now. And after saying a few weeks back that he was definitely going for the Gold Cup and then two days ago reiterating that the Gold Cup was still the plan.

Am I allowed to call her a bitch?

I would have been surprised to see him run in anything other than the Ryanair regardless of ground.

I remember I backed Racing Demon a couple of years ago in one of the novice hurdles at the Festival. Raced into a 10-12 length lead rounding the bend but didn't get up the hill, the fecker.

Old Hen wraps up her horses so much these days. I think she should give it up.

she has been slated for this in the past -but the last two winners of the gold cup are out with career ending injuries plus countless other horses like celestial wave etc -so in light of everything i think good luck to her -she seems to be able to get the top class horses thru thier life without much injuries -leave hen alone

There is only one real reason for this defection- she knows she cant beat Kauto Star.
I wont back him, as he has the potential to fall, but I wouldnt dream of laying him, as there is a greater chance he will win by 5 lengths.
KS has come in for some over-the-top negative commentary recently.
He's the best horse in the race, and will most likely win.
I would counsel anyone against laying him heavily.

I wouldn't dream of laying Kauto, I think himself and Denman are two horses that have come in for criticism just because people don't like short priced horses. They should win regardless.

fade, kauto has got critized for the mistakes hes made and the falls he had ,most notably his fall at the first last year -one of the main factors in winning horses at cheltenham is course form -which he has none

prices mean nothing to me and if i think a horse is a worthy fav i will back it -
    any sensible gambler knows that

think back to moscow flyer and all his falls -over all it didnt detract from him being a champion or a worthy fav on many occasions and there was discussions not unlike this one b4 he ran -

everyone one knew moscows flaws and accepted them and factored them in when having a bet ,but very few are realistacally taking note of kautos flaws which he has a few

i will cheer if he does win but he wont carry my money as i dont think he a worthy fav -imo he will bottle it at a fence when under pressure and u can be sure a few jocks in that race will put him under pressure going into fences

I won't argue with you knighted, simply because it's an argument that's been done into the groung at this stage. We'll just see what happens next Friday.
