I was just thinking that in any of the jobs ive had I always cant wait until work finishes, it would be deadly to have a job that you enjoyed and werent praying that the time would go quickly, especially as it takes up near half your life.

    Anyone actually enjoy there jobs?

    I have a job.....

    .........yeah.

I used to but have grown bored and fed up with it over the last few years. That's why I'm studying again now and looking for a new job. Anybody who's been in their job for a long time and still loves it is really lucky!

I'd think this would be better placed in Work & Jobs.

And yes, I do like my job. Not today though, people don't know half what they think they do

I like my work... but not my job... if that makes sense?

I love what I do but haven't had anything new and challenging for a while now so I'm getting itchy feet...

That said, it's a great place to work, good atmosphere and I'm pretty much my own boss so nobody hassles me that much :)

Then again, I had a really horrible job for 15 months prior to taking my current job so anything would be good compared with that.

    Slavery. That's what it is.
    Plain and simple.

    Hear them chains.
    *clank* *clank* *clank*

I'm seriously thinking of selling betsy (my car) and heading for the hills..

Have to get a map first but you heard it here first.

oh i love my job..... mind you i dont actually work in my job :D

probably spend about 1hour doing actual work and 6 watching DVDs on my hidden portable player thanks to the gob****es in head office who seem to be all degrees and no brains. they actually closed down the busiest offices sacked everyone except me and two others and stuck us in a place where i dont think were actually breaking even.

i think the only reason im not redundant is because i think theres contractual obligations on em with a partner corporation they merged with to have at least one office open to the public.

still its money for nothing so i cant complain. theres people out there busting their ass hauling gear around and putting themselves in genuine danger earning less.

oh well time to get back to series two of the twilight zone :D

Nope, I start getting depressed on Saturday night that I have to go in on Monday. Not only do I hate it when I'm there it ruins my free time thinking about how much I hate it.

Well, being a masked superhero who lives only to fight crime and injustice, it has its ups and downs, but generally I'm content with it. (I get a free cape!!)

I work 10 hour days 4 days a week, my week being split in two (in Mon/Tue, off wednesday, back for the next two, then off the weekend :) ). Also, when the weather is sh1tty like it has been until, well, the gorgeous day we have today, only working 4 days meant I had ample time to show up for overtime work, Ive been raking it in :):)

Roll on the summer- on the two euro drink tear Tuesday night wherever in town does the offer, relaxin out the back in the sun on Wednesday, and it all kicks off again Friday evening :D Savage schtuff.

I used to be stuck on an afternoon to evening 5 days a week though, it takes over your life as when you are going to work your mates are nearly getting out of college/work and when you get home most people are in bed. Very depressing, you see nobody between Monday and Friday night and tbh Id rather be on the dole than work that again.

    As do I.

I love going onsite somewhere and laughing at people chained to some desk in thier stuffy, morbid depressing kip of an office that they have to get up at some ungodly hour of the morning to struggle into. Why do people do it?

I like my job, I work 28 hrs pw, finish at 2pm 4 out of 5 days and have sundays and mondays off. Gives me enough money to pay the bills and leaves plenty time to do the things i really love! Work in vet clinic, spend a good bit of time outdoors, just lovin' what I do!

I've worked in the same place for 5 years, in 2 different roles, and I feel quite lucky to be able to say I love my job and have never once dreaded coming into work (except perhaps once after my birthday when I was extremely hung over). It's very unpredictable and I have a nice balance of quiet days and busy days. Also, it's the first job I've ever had that was just Monday to Friday and the novelty of having free weekends has still not worn off.

I hate my current job so much, bunch of arseholes. I knew from the first day when i walked in I wasnt going to like it,that must be the worst feeling ever....should of quit a week later, but listened to people and decided to stick it out a bit.Ended up here 5months hating every single day and spending the days i wasnt in here dreading the thought of going back to work. Although Friday afternoons were pure bliss!

I love my job and love it even more today because I've just been told that I'm being sent to London tomorrow, all expenses paid with £500 spending money. :D And all I have to do for it is hand over one document to a guy before noon (it's ever so clandestine!).

    I love my job.

Good hours, great holidays, pension, great work-mates, no stress at all and just a really laid back and relaxed atmosphere.

The pay isn't amazing but tbh the rest of the benefits make up for it.
