If it's the latest Corsa ad with the puppets, then Sean Paul does the song...dunno the name.

I really can't understand why advertisers can't include the name/artist of the song they use in a small caption at the bottom of the screen and avoid filling the internet up with "OMG wut iz dat tune in d kewl ad 4 stuff" requests.
If I was an artist licensing my song to an ad I'd insist on it...

Is it the AIB Ryder cup ad (man in rowing boat next to large ship, people abandoning their cars on O'connell st. golfers teeing off on Brooklyn bridge and some beach on the west coast)? If so, that's "Requiem For A Dream" (used a bit in movie soundtracks/trailers. If not, I dunno.

that version is off the Remix album for the Requiem For A Dream soundtrack. and b'jaysus is the music from that movie used a lot, in the space of 3 days, I heard it twice on 2 different programs

I saw this done on a few ads when I was over in America.. a pringles ad had it on for sure.

Woops, meant recent times like the last couple of months. The AIB 'be with aib add its the one with all the kids running around a town in their gaa gear. thanks for the suggestions, those websites are more uk based add's but still good to know

I just wish someone could tell me what was the song that O2 used for their O2 Active - How Active will you be? ad, it was around 2002-2003 and it had guys in hoods walking around with their phones.. I remember the song being quite catchy..

Kleenex 'let it out' ad where these random punters are accosted by some fella asking for a chat and to let it all out? Think the song's by a band called Starrfadu. You can look em up on myspace. The song's on it too.

thanks guys, all those songs are in itunes too. I think the opel corsa add is a version of bobby darrins -don't rain on my parade but could be wrong:)
