Do you want joke answers or not?

Only kidding. Head down to a hard ware store and ask for propane, they usually sell it in cans with adapters.

Yeah I did think of a source involving beans ;)

Don't I need an adapter to use propane?

Sounds good. Just need to grab some quickly for this weekend. I'd say I'll go with the propane in the long term.

    Hi Hivemind
Where exactly will sell the adaptor in Ireland. Can get the propane in Galway but can only find the adaptors on the Net.

    Thanks.

I've never heard of them selling the adaptors in Ireland. Got mine from Airsoft Innovations, approx $30 + delivery. Took about 4-5 days to deliver.

Nice piece M8. Did you have to pay any extras on arrival?

Actually I didn't. I was surprised, last time I ordered from UNcompany I was taxed. Seems it's a bit of a lottery.

I had that very same pistol. bought it on impulse but didnt really like it after about a week. used it once and sold it on. I'm not even sure what i didnt like about it. it wasnt plain enough like the glock and wasnt sexy enough like the 1911's.

Sorry, my bad. I should have been clearer. The adapter only applies to certain model pistols which have the same injector port as gas powered cigarette lighters.

Nice. Welcome to the P226 club ;)

Thats a nice pistol. It looks like it has rail under the front of the barrel. Are you going to get any attachments for it?

Yep, I'll be getting a laser sight for it eventually.

I'd like to get a laser or a flashlight for my M9A1.

I got the KJW P226 3 weeks ago and loving it, I got an M3 tac light for it for night time target plinking. Its my first airsoft gun of any kind so I have nothing to compare it to.

    Works a treat.

    They all have that port.
I dont see the point in using the Propane adapter...I dont personally use my side-arm enough to justify buying anymore than a €20 bottle of gas. Plus it was shown that most "Gun Gas" although has the same chemical composition as propane, is ridiculously refined and also has some other chemicals added to help the gun operate. Some have small amounts of silicone lube as standard. Just remember, on a spectograph(spectrometre? Aint done chemistry in a while, cant remember which it is!) diamonds and coal give off the same readings too.
