    5 months ago i bought a

    Samsung HT-XQ100 5.1 Cinema System

i used it 5 times and then it stopped working, i hadn't used the dvd function.
All i used was the optical sound.

I had bought it of Komplett, but they had none left, so i decided instead of getting a new
system and the hassle of delivery i would get it repaired.

Samsung sent out a guy And for a month i heard nothing, it was december after all i thought.

3 calls later to samsung and no news, it was now january, to skip forward a bit after 10 or more calls i got through to the repair guy in febuary,
i was told the device for loading the dvd could not be repaired(they were waiting for a replacement part?)

Don't forget i never used the dvd!

They returned the dvd receiver part to me, it was near the end of feb. now

I had to package it all up again, luckily i keep the original packaging...

Now its returned to Samsung, great i thought i'll have a new system again.

On the 26th of February they got the system a monday, i sent it on a thursday, 3 work days!

Going by this i should have got mine on the thursday or friday at the latest.

No luck, 6th of march today i called 4 times, last week i got a del. no. which i was told was for DHL, it didn't work.
so today i found out it was for NYK, they say they never received the order.

Get this they(samsung) even lost my compaint account twice today so they made a new one Rolling Eyes

    ====================

Like i said any help, (because i have gotten none so far) would help.

    Thanx in advance.

Tbh I think it's an issue that Samsung will still have to sort out.
The product is in warranty and if it's not repairable, then they should give you a new one altogether.

    thats a given

the thing is they told me in feb. they were giving me a replacement

do you think my new system will have a new warranty since it will nearly be a year old by the time i get it

Quite honestly, any company who can't repair a product or can't get a part, will replace it with a new replacement. The lark of losing complaints is mad. It's all on computer these days, so I highly doubt its lost.

If all else fails, you bought a product that was faulty (since you never used the dvd), god only knows how long the dvd would have lasted, had you used it, you could be forced to get legal advise on how to get some resolve.

New systems will have a new warranty.

But only new systems. A replacement will still be on the original warranty.

you are still within your statutory 1 year, I would bring Komplett back into things by at least cc'ing a polite but firm letter indicating you opted for the repair route and as this has not happened to your satisifaction you will bring Komplett to the fore to see what they can do.
You have kept good records of the event, you're only mistake was opting away from your source of contract, let Komplett have a go, if all well then great if not then replacement or refund or Small Claims Court

Yeah quite true in its own self.
