Table seems quite aggressive/loose now. Any broadway cards are raised and a raise is treated with a re-raise alot or an all in. Now i pick up these.

what should i do? Feel very weak just calling? But dont wanna risk my stack for a race or maybe an overpair?

The button is in seat #5
    *** HOLE CARDS ***
    Dealt to Roadsweep [Jc Jh]
    Need4Play calls $0.50
    Edjon calls $0.50
    tk_foster raises to $1
    preacher76 calls $1
    sears_mcbeers folds
    Roadsweep calls $1
    Justus88 folds
    Im 4 Grinder calls $0.50
    Need4Play calls $0.50
    Edjon calls $0.50

Raise to about 4 or 5. The only person who even possibly has you beat is the original min raiser, and if he does he is a bad player!

    push a all in?

only started cash games like yourself.

What are the stack sizes? If they are all roughly 50 (which I presumed they were) then dont bother, in fact I wouldnt bother at all, but if someone does push who is shortstacked and not the original minraiser I would call, at worst I'd say you were racing but some people would do it with an underpair hoping for a race. Well thats what ive seen so far anyway.

em, yea i had about 50 and he was on 20 roughly. Do you find that too many players get involved?

Like for instance the original raiser pot bet a K high the flop and 3 more called. Its still like playing lower stakes :(

What sites this on? Also I'd consider playing six seated tbh as there is more skill involved I would assume.

I'm playing six handed on Full Tilt and the players are a lot more passive then I would of liked and thats at .10/.25 I'm going to move up today though cause its a bit boring really and I'll just transfer money in from my other accounts to fulfill bankroll requirements :)

re original post. no shame in playing jacks slowly. ten high flop and you have potential to stack some bad players. flops with any A K Q can be cheaply folded, and flops with a J on it and you win big pots.

lol maye its just the difference between .10/.25 and .25/.50

I had been hitting some great hands but people were folding left right and centre to me, And I've been playing quite LAG, raising with any two on the CO/dealer button 8 rounds out of ten.

My AA and KK hands speak for themselves ive had them about 12 times in 2000 hands and 5 times they were folded to with standard raises.

I started off 2 tabling .10/.25 with 60 dolllars that was left on FTP and with some nice cards and some bad opponents ive built it up to about 260 in the past three days, so I'm going to transfer 500 in from my Interpoker (six pac sng a/c) and move up to .25/.50. I realise its still not the optimum amount for proper bankroll management but I feel the edge I have over the players at this level is vast.... so many tight weak or loose weak players. Its like playing badly programmed bots a lot of the time, Pokertracker is a god send. I've only started using it properly and it has won me so many pots. I'm just going to have to make sure that my reads dont become dependent on it.

Jeff there is a 57 per cent chance that an overcard will come on the flop, and a lot of the time people are calling min raises with underpairs looking for their set, we want to isolate and get some of the dead money out of the pot. I think calling is absolutely the wrong move and a raise is a certainty, minraising preflop is often a weak play and there is no point allowing it.

    SAY NO TO MINRAISES PREFLOP!

I take it you're on the button? such a standard raise here.
