The Sluggers Softball team are looking for male and female players to join their squad this year. Are you interested?

If you have played softball before and think you would be up to the challenge of playing in the Premier division then please let me know before the end of March 2007 at the latest.

Those who have played baseball, hurling, camogie or even hockey before might also have an interest in this sport as many of the same skills apply. If you are not sure either way then just let me know and we can arrange for you to come out and practice with us and see how you get on

We are looking for 1-2 guys and 2-3 more girls to add to the squad.

A bit about us & the league
    • We are a very international team with members mainly from Japan, but also Malaysia, Netherlands, USA and of course Ireland
    • Playing for our 2nd season this year in the Premier division of the Leinster league our home games and practice is on the south side of Dublin. Most likely Marlay Park this year.
    • We play one league game a week on Tuesdays and train every Saturday afternoon. Away matches can be anywhere in the city, north/south. We also play in various tournaments.
    • Season is from April to end of September
    • As a team our outlook is to do our very best and have fun playing as a team and encourage each other as much as possible. We do like to win, of course!, but ensure we have fun doing it

To learn more about softball in the Leinster league > here

    Thanks.
