Are you getting delivery with Fedex?

    You can track it there.

(much to the hilarity of one boards member...watching his lens travel around the world before getting to Ireland...)

No, "standard delivery" which I assume is post, as its only a small and cheap item.

Ur galaxy descent seller, no bother, I dealt twice to those folks smooth and pleasant experience
BUT.....huh, since lately, there's tighter customs control to inbound parcels, not to mention the fact, all couriers like fedex, tnt, ups get all parcels VAT&duty cleared themselves for customs:mad: so get ready to pay all customs duties, VATs etc.
a friend of mine paid 46euro in charges for 89USD valued pair of Columbia boots imported from states, what a rip off, huh!!!!

I know this an old thread, but instead of posting in a new one...

Have these guys been shut down? Or are they going out of business? GF ordered something from them there and got an email (after UR Galaxy said it had been shipped) from Ebay saying the order was cancelled. They seem to have feck all in their store also.

I ordered a lens off of them a couple of weeks back. Delivery was pretty fast but the day after I got it I received an email from ebay saying that they'd broke some rules, so yeah, looks like there's some dodgyness going on.

I've had nothing but good experiences with them myself though.

oof, look up toolhaus.org. There does seem to be a massive increase of neutral and negative feedback, and their positive feedback is down to 97.8% Maybe they've gone bad ...

It would seem that way. Hopefully she'll receive the lens, pain in the ass otherwise.

For Nikon stuff, which other sellers would people recommend? In the market for a few lenses myself.

Try kea-photo on ebay. Other than that, check out Calumet in Belfast.

I have bought three lenses from URgalaxy, the last one in mid-March, and have never had any issues or been caught for tax or duty. All lenses were delivered by fedex. However, a frined of mine ordered an 50mm f1.8 Nikon lens from him and then heard nothing for five weeks, it turns out that the lens was bounced back from customs in ireland. So it seems like the beginning of the end all right! Hugo usually attached a customs clearance saying that the elns had been bought in the Uk and sent to HK for repair - maybe somebody actually saw one of these invoices and checked up on it?
