I'm tempted to pick up the first series boxset but haven't actually seen any of the episodes. Is it worth getting?

    Most definitely worth watching.
    As is Series 2.

Where did you see this on sale?

All I ever saw was Jenifer from Argento and Cigarette Burns from Carpenter and thoroughly enjoyed both. I'd recommend it on the strength of those alone!

It's worth getting both box sets, they're only 22 euro wach on play.com.

I wish they had released it in one, more convenient. Still it's cheap enough.

    At it's best it's enjoyable.

At it's worst it's horrific (and not in a good way)

Deer Woman is probably the best episode out of the bunch on those discs. There are some good one's in series two though... Pro-Life by John Carpenter was very good.

Yeah ... Deer Woman was great fun, and the woman in it is amazing. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.

But the rest are a bit of mixed bunch

The worst one I've seen was the one in which a man has flashes of another womans life - and sees her murdering her lover, etc. Pretty boring, and predictable - standard tv rubbish really. Was it called Chocolate, I think?

I think its worth getting and ive only seen the first few from season 2 but season 2 seemed to be better what I saw of it. Where did ya see it and how much was it. And did it inclued the not seen Tassahi Miike epp?

Watched Jennifer last night. It was brilliantly horrific, really twisted although the story was pretty poor.

Just ordered Pro-Life and Cigarette Burns/Dreams In The Witch House off play. Very interested to see what Pro-Life is like

You'd be better off saving your cash to buy me a beer or fill the void in the "Conscious" budget. :D

I thought Pro-Life was pretty good.

Easily the best thing John Carpenter has done in a long, long time.

Ron Perlman is great in it.

Finally saw Pro-Life, didn't like it nearly as much as Cigarette Burns. SPOLIERS:
Didn't like the man in a suit one bit. Terrible creature design, and from KNB!! Me oh my. The acting didn't blow me away either, especially Ron Perlman who usually always shines! Pity

I was hoping for the series would be a bit better to be honest... Although I did like Pro-life an C. Burns. Pelts was OK.

I don't think I'd buy 'em on DVD though. Mind you, for 22 euro you can't really go wrong. I'm probably in the minority here... but I always felt like I wanted something more form each story...

ive seen all the first season and some ot the second i liked fair haired child,i think its called from season 1 and family from season 2,however i think that the storylines are a bit weak in some of them and they are rushed in the what is it 55 mins? some go for shock value rather than quality value considering the horror directors that are working on them!

Remember they are only given 1 week and 1 million dollars to make the films for the series.

My feelings on this topic are a) hard to get a lot into an hour and b) as pointed out budget and time is low but yes I do agree, sometimes it did seem lacking unnecessarily!
