Does anyone know the status of St Annes? They have a really good early bird price at the moment but maybe that's because the course is not so good right now?

I played Portmarnock Links today. Nice to play a dry course again after having played Dublin City Golf and Stackstown.

All tees, fairways and greens open at Portmarnock Links.

If anyone wants to join a early game at St Anne's or St Margret's on Thursday that would be awesome.

St Anne's fairways are closed, so I played Corballis instead. Birdie on the 10th made my day!

    Tip: St. Annes = ****hole!!

Headfort is a great course though!! I dunno about it being the driest course though! The old course tends to be dry because its on a hill but the new course's drainage is a bit suspect cos its in a bit of a dip!!

Yeah, I'm getting tired of St Annes not answering the phone nor mail... And the course didn't look really exciting either. But it is a links in Dublin...

I played St. Annes a few years ago in a competition with my old job. I was kinda hoping mejner would have played it and reported back here. I don't remember it being as bad as hunty suggests but to be honest I remember very little about the course which is annoying  I can remember who I played with on the day and hitting a horrible tee shot on the 1st but little else :o . If you want a top quality links I'd highly recommend the European Club(Wicklow). Played there a few years back too when green fees were a bit more affordable. Probably the best and toughest course I've ever played. Seapoint is very nice too(just north of Drogheda).

Played European for 80 euros a couple of weeks ago, very nice links.

Looking to play Seapoint soon, thanks.
