Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    The Ultimate Comment, a psychological/artistic/cultural/memetic/comedic/linguistic/philosophical group based in Dublin, is looking for volunteers for an informal experiment in using metacommentology to expand the faculties of the mind.

    Metacommentology is the art and science of commenting on things. The experiment aims to find out whether this can be used to enhance mental abilities such as sensory acuity or visualisation.

    Just pick an faculty you'd like to improve on and spend ten or twenty minutes a day commenting on it. For example, if you want to improve your kinesthetic awareness, describe aloud all the sensations coming from your body. If you want to improve visualisation, close your eyes and describe all the things you see in your mind's eye. Comment in as much detail as possible. Comment aloud. Keep a written record of how you progress. And please let us know how this works out for you.
