Flopping an unhidden set in position

    NL $0.25/$0.50 STacks. Villian($45) Hero($55) Villian is 28/12 for about 50 hands

    UTG(villian) raises $2
    MP folds
    CO calls $2
    Button(hero) Qh9h calls $2
    SB folds
    BB folds

    Flop 9c 9d 2c ($6.75)
    Villian bets $5
    C/o folds
    Hero calls $5

    Turn 5s ($16.75)
    Villian bets $10
    Hero raises $24
    Villian raises $38(all in)
    Hero calls $14 Pot($92.75)

What is the correct line to take in this type of situation? Especially on the flop. Do you raise or just call? If I had the same hand in the BB after having my blind raised should I check raise or bet out? If the flop came 9c 9d Jc should this change what I do as the board is more draw heavy? Should I ever fold the turn here?

Can I be the first pedant to point out you have trips, not a set?

Fold preflop. As played the rest is OK. I'd expect him to have an overpair a lot of the time here.

If I was OOP I'd bet out but I do this a lot, it depends on the player and your image

fold pf, I don't think u should raise the turn.

in bb, I'd prob just check call, lead turn then maybe.
