ipod showing sad ipod icon

Ipod froze up the other day and when I went to reset it, an icon with a sad face appeared with the apple support website address.

I went to the site but everything I tried didn't seem to make a difference - such as trying to get it into disk mode. It seems that my ipod needs a service.

Any suggestions on what I should do?
Also is there anywhere in Dublin that might be able to service it?

If your ipod is a <4G then your prob better just getting a quote (make sure its free) to fix it as from what I have seen you usually get ripped off getting Apple equipment serviced/fixed.
