omaha hi/lo low hand question

    [Jan 3 08:20:13] : ProLion2005 has high hand : Flush KT765
    [Jan 3 08:20:13] : Seat 9 : R1ght On has Ac 3s 8s 5d
    [Jan 3 08:20:13] : R1ght On has low hand : 7653A
    [Jan 3 08:20:13] : Seat 2 : womenwonder has 5c 4s 6c 2s
    [Jan 3 08:20:13] : womenwonder has low hand : 65432
    [Jan 3 08:20:13] : womenwonder wins $0.50 with low hand : 65432
    [Jan 3 08:20:13] : ProLion2005 wins $0.50 with high hand : Flush KT765
    [Jan 3 08:19:53] : Hand is over.

    So what I'm asking is...
    womenwonder has low hand : 65432 (she added 24 to board of 356)
    R1ght On has low hand : 7653A (I added A3 to board of 567)

    I thought I may win this low hand because I have the lowest card but womenwonder won with her hand... in other words if it was a high hand the highest card wins... but here the lowest card didn't win, the highest low card won if you know what i mean... is this how it's supposed to work?

    Any easy way to think about this?

    lo hands count from the highest card back. So their lo is a 6 high lo, while yours is a 7 high one

    ok, cheers, that clears it up...

    just to confirm..
    a low of 6543A would be beaten by
    a low of 6542A

    because the 2 in the second hand is lower than the 3 in the first hand? (no real need to answer as I reckon this is obvious)

    it's just in the original situation I was looking for someone with an A, no one had one so i thought I would win the low with the lowest card, i didn't know it counted from the highest low card downwards!

    50 cents lost, i can live with that!

    The site was Victor Chandler... don't know what SN means?


    I was learning how to play omaha hi-lo... using a $10 free deposit on the $.02 --- $.04 tables... he he he lowest stakes ever...

    played an omaha hi tourney today online, thought it was texas hold em, came fourth so i must have improved at least a little bit since then...
