Estimated annual energy yield

    Hi,

I am just after buying solar panels and the estimated annual energy is 1575 KWh - that is for a Total aperture area of 5.73 mSq.
Can anybody tell me if this is good/average/bad. We have a 400 l tank and the system has not been commisioned yet. Would it make a big difference to me if the annual yield was say another 500/600 per annum. We have a south-west facing site.

    Regards

You havent said where you live or what inclination the panels will be at, so difficult to say exactly whether this is good or bad. For the panel size it would seem to be just above average.
