    Yes. An old Windows for Workgroups 3.11 had 32bit TCP/IP, so with old browser and email sW and ethernet card/cable it works. 386CPU, 16MHz, 8M RAM minimum.. :)


    For more recent browsers/email SW you want Windows 98 SE, Win2000, XP, Max OS X, any recent Linux distribution. 200MHz to 1GHz CPU (depending on newness/boatedness of OS), 64M RAM (Win98SE) to 512M RAM (XP, OS X, Ubuntu) and at least 1024 x768 @16 bit (High colour) graphics.

    Vista will work too :)

    Blasphemy! I had 4MB on my 386 and Windows 3.11 ran fine! :D
    Not with a 32bit Web Browser on Win32S and the 32bit TCP/IP stack it didn't.

    Add another 4M RAM to sensibly run Office 4.3 at the same time.
