Hi, When I access http://boards.ie I get a time out message and the site doesnt load, but when I access http://www.boards.ie I get to the site no problem. I've noticed this on the HEA network and on Eircom. DNS problem perhaps?

Aye, more than likely the tail-end of DNS propagation. Don't worry about it - it'll fix itself in time.
