silly question but please answer

    i cant get the ctrl+the at icon to work, i cant check my mail, for example when i type mynameatgmail.com the at icon doesnt come up, im using a new keyboard btw

    I think it should be Shift+2 (@ above).

    shift and 2 is the american layout
