OK, the time has come to clamp down on this tournament charter issue.

I can see that asking people to adhere to the charter (http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=227377) is not being heeded by everyone. I know some people do follow it, and there are some that don't.

From now on, we don't care who you are, or how well known the structure may be in the general Dublin (or elsewhere) poker community, if it does not follow the charter structure then the post will be edited and locked or deleted. PM's will probably be sent to people at first, but a zero tolerance attitude is the only way to treat this from now on. This includes all the Casino operators, and also includes people who are posting at short notice. The notice cannot be that short that you cannot take the time to add a few details.

I recommend advertisers to add the charter structure to your favourites and just cut and paste from that to save time, adding all the relevant details.

The situation is either going to be as above or else it would be left to descend to the bad old days of "€20 rebuy tonight in xxx" with no more details.

I do not envisage handing out any bans over this as that would be a bit extreme, but repeated ignoring of this could well end up in one, so be warned.

If a thread is started by a poster looking for more information on an event and someone from the place where the event is on posts a direct reply, then that is fine. If however, that person seeks to use that thread as a 'pimp vehicle' (nice phrase) for the tournament, they must use the charter format. Discretion will be used on this.

All slates are clean right now, so please let it stay that way.

    Ta muchly.
