My father is thinking of selling the above, it's a 4dr saloon in dolphin grey with black leather. The car has factory a/c, electric s/r & windows, good tyres (2 new, 2 nearly new), and has just had €500 spent on a good alarm & rear parking sensors. Mileage is 111,000, and the condition is excellent. What kind of money should I be asking for it?

What year? Sounds great, we need some BIG pix to make a decent valuation but on the face of it anywhere from €1500 if its A1

Just put this on Carzone. Unfortunately €1,500 won't buy it!;)

1988 for over 4k? You really will need lots of good quality pix to sell it. Good luck.

The E30 is a classic, after all. Time will tell, I guess.:)

    Christ on a bike

If that's the case, you can have mine (same car with two less cylinders and less cow inside) for €3750 ONO :)

I think 1500 for an A1 E30 is way off the mark. Having said that, I also think 4750 is too high. 3500 maybe?

Like any other car, it's only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. I'm in no particular hurry to sell, so i'm not starting low. That said, I do ultimately want to sell the car. With that in mind, i'll consider all serious offers.

Bucks sold his fantasticly tidy 318is for about 4000 last year so I guess you have a chance. I suspect the autobox will count against it, simply cos most people view the e30 as a very hands on driving experience.
