thanks ICH and solus, might have overdone it a little on the conversion, can never really tell on my monitor here in work. At home everything looks too bright but then everything looks too dull here. I really need to invest in something for proper calibration...I usually end up brightening too much in order to make them look normal on this monitor..

A fan of number 3 also, the eyes are striking. Nice capture.

Yeah like number 3 the best, but very good overall. Keep experimenting

That's red eye in B&W I think. They're a little on the blownish side alright. Not always a bad thing but it doesn't seem to work here though.

I think the general consensus is to tone the brightness down a bit..and to buy some proper calibration hardware/software...Danny did you get something recently? would you recommend it?

    Thanks,

    Dave

#3 is simply brilliant!!! Everything about the face is perfect, just need to tone down the models left shoulder slightly

I got the Spyder2Express and it seems to work well. Initially I wasn't too sure because, well, it looks ok here but I wasn't sure about elsewhere. It's very reasonable and I remember seeing here that Conn's, above all places, were doing a very good deal on it. Give them a shout, it should be under €100.
