PC shutting after I send a fax.....

    Hi,

    I have recently started using the fax facility on my pc & it shuts down after the fax is sent. I get a message saying something like "windows has suffered a fatal error" and a blue screen. Can anyone advise. I am running Windows XP SP2 on a Dell machine.

    Also, can you use the modem to dial up the internet?

    I think it is called Microsoft Fax Console

    I used to but now I am on broadband so it only dials when I use the fax.
