    1. When you get al in with my opponent drawing to two outs I visualise them hitting it because this usually happens. I think if I stopped looking after I got it in, then my results will change.

    2. I am going to start playing in my bedroom because my living room is jynxed.

    3. I will never play barefoot or in just boxers.

    4. I will never have boards open while playing. Although I am not distracted, this site is bad luck in general and can be blamed for the games getting tougher.

    5. If I am not on the P5's leaderboard by this time next year, I will quit playing poker online.

    6. I am thinking about a rabbits foot or buying ladybugs to keep in my fridge and take out when I play.

    7. I love you all and I love god and I love poker and I love pokerstars! I love whoever is in charge of good luck; you are the best!

    8. Please bring me good luck for just posting this. Eight is a very lucky number so I will end on this note. Peace.

Either you're drunk (or stoned) or you've had a great night playing poker :p
    So which is it?

Theres an even better post in that thread if you ask me.
here is my advice to you, AVOID ALL INS with top pair, 2 pair and top 2 pair on the flop, play more "small ball" poker like Daniel Negreanu says. Most might say going all in and getting called with those hands will make you a lot of money, but in my experience i kept noticing how i kept getting sucked out on with those hands when getting the money in on the flop.

I checked my poker tracker and kept seeing how i kept getting sucked out on when being a favorite when the money went in on the flop. I decided to play the flop slow from now on and make my move on the turn.

yes im a superstitious man but the stats don't lie.

I definitely agree with number 1. Anytime I think they're going to hit, they do. I think the best ploy to counteract this is to have the process tab on the task manager open. Anytime you're all in, close client.exe immediately. Apparently this is what all the top pros do to avoid the bad beats at the higher levels. I'm pretty sure Robin mentioned it in his post about 3 betting.

    A few other things:

    1. My laptop is rigged. Make sure you find the right computer to play on. Your IP and MAC addresses sync with the rng on different sites, so you need to make sure you have a computer where the syncing works in your favour.

    2. I recently found that closing down googletalk while I'm playing increases my winrate. Nothing to do with chatting, just the icon in the taskbar is cursed.

    3. If you're running bad, hide yourself from search. Things pick up immediately. Then, when you start running bad again, make yourself visible. Repeat this process as required.

Hold em tips? Seen as I'm now a confirmed genius according to some quiz I found here.....

    1. When ALL IN against a 2 outer (Gambling Joe) ask your guardian angel to give St Jude (the patron St of lost causes) a WEDGIE, St Judge hates wedgies and generally sulks leaving the 2 outer stranded in his own doggy poo.

    2. When you get KK or AA late in a tournament, forget the optimal way to play these hands, prepare for your potential exit, but at least do it in style. Go all in preflop and let the fool dog you. (serves you right for not contacting GA)

    3. Generally I find when you are ahead and know it and there are only two of you left in the hand, if you are happy with the pot as it stands. Do a Jamie Gold and tell them they are behind. St Jude likes this and will never let you be dogged
In fact he will bestow on you, 3 doggie cards to play, for when you are in trouble.

    4. ONLINE ? When late in a tournament and you get AA or KK fold them to the min raiser, he obviously has 7 3 or something like that and this will hit . There is no point in ranting as if you did your maths correctly you will know his hand was favourite. Fool the software by going all in the very next hand with 9 3 off. The software can't handle this and will probably flop you the nuts. Guaranteeing you a ticket or high place cash finish.

    5. Change you name to something Scandie. I'm changing mine to Arne GudHansFlopd

1 on Tribeca always have to turn the chat to no dealer before first hand is played especially in Heads up

2 do not sit on the same seat on more than 1table

3 Always fold AQ pre if a guy with less than 20 BBS is yet to act

1- Leave the room your PC is in while playing. Go to the furthest part of your home away from the PC. Then walk back. As you enter the room you will see aces. now....... RUN!!!!!!

2- Never take tips on omaha from someone who actually knows how to play omaha while you're playing. A winning strategy for omaha is to not know too much about anything. This can also be applied to 7 card stud.

3- Live - never kneel on your chair, leaves you closer to the cosmic beams.

4- Live - Never order a drink, or talk to anyone not at the table while in the middle of a hand.

5- In Razz, if someone has two kings showing and is still betting like mad, just fold, there's no hope for you.

6- Live - Always have your chips in a little wall to the right of you cards when you're looking at them. Those sodding cosmic beams again.

7- While playing online, it's always good to have some sort of sharp object in front of you(i currently favour a screw driver). Not to use on yourself, or the PC. Playing online is when THEY are likley to attack.

8- Don't watch poker on TV or on the internet while playing yourself. No one will agree to chop preflop with you.

This is awful advice, your chips must ALWAYS be stacked to your left, highest value chips furthest away

any other chip-stacking strategy is pure insanity

always remember to wear your lucky top too

ensure some part of your body is covered with salmon coloured clothing.
This is a secret handed down through the ages since the days of Fionn.
Wearing it you are paying homage to the Fianna and their mystical help will ensure your 58o will flop the nut str8, turn will give your opponent a flush river will give you the house

That's the STUPIDEST thing i've ever read!!!!

ON THE LEFT?? THE FUPPING LEFT??

If you do that you're pretty much guaranteed that the cosmic beams will get inside your head. It also protects against the chiefs tiltometer. It won't stop you getting chiefed however. I may start experimenting with some tin foil hats to solve the problem.
