Visa for columbia...how to.

Planning well ahead here. Looks like I will have to hold off on any big trips for a while longer. However, that doesnt mean I can't do a bit of ground work!

I plan on spending a month in Columbia either in Dec or Jan. I *think* I remember reading somewhere that since the Columbia 3 fiasco, Irish people going to Columbia have to go to the columbian embassy in London to get a visa?

Has anyone gone through this process? I will be in London towards the end of next month - I wonder can I get one then - or is it too far in advance of travel?

It maybe that I have no reason to be in London later in the year - or possibly less convenient even if I am..

Yes, the lads spot of 'bird watching' has made arrangements that little bit more difficult.
I tried to email their embassy in london but the mail bounced!

Irish citizens no longer require a visa to enter Colombia (since Jan 1st 2007).

Thanks for that killbill. I should have double checked and not assumed there was still a visa required.
