Can you cut mirror glass with a normal glass cutter?

    I need to obtain some small square pieces of mirror for a garden project i am working on. I was wondering if it is possible to cut mirror glass in the same fashion as you would cut ordinary glass with a glass cutter ( one of the ones ya score the glass with and then snap it ) ???

    If anyone knows anything about this i would appreciate a quick few words, dont want to go slicing a hand off or getting a shard of glass in the pupil :eek:.
