Lunchtime Poker - Tips for a good game please

We have been playing Poker every lunch for the past few weeks, but we effectively only have about 35mins to play once everyone has bought their lunch and chips are distributed. The problem with this is that we can only play about 10 hands per lunch and we haven't yet been able to carry over the chips to the following day because people would be eliminated and there wouldn't be enough players left to justify a game the next day.

I'm trying to come up with a format that will allow us to play effectively for money. I'm aware that the introduction of money will inevitably lead to players adapting a tight style. That's why I'm proposing having a league format with one game being played per day and points being awarded. Hopefully this will encourage people to play aggressively because if it pays off they will be able to earn more points and if it doesn't, then they still have a few days to claw back points they have lost.

I have been taking (basic) stats over the past few days and noted that 100% of the players saw the flop whenever the BB wasn't raised. When the BB was raised by 400% (I did the raising), only 1 player called me each time. This gave me the idea of also awarding (a smaller number of) points to those who saw the most amount of flops in the game. It would add, I feel, a twist to the game as people would now have to decide whether or not their hand is good enough to call a raised pot while knowing that by calling it, they will have the opportunity to earn extra points for seeing the flop. Of course, people could simply bluff and raise the BB to throw off others and clear the path for their extra points but that's the dillema that the others will face.

I was considering distributing the points as follows:
    CHIP LEADER AFTER 30 MINS:
    1st: 6
    2nd: 5
    3rd: 4
    4th: 3
    5th: 2
    6th: 0

    SEEING FLOPS:
    1st: 4
    2nd: 3
    3rd: 2
    4th: 1
    5th/6th: 0

In the case of two (or more) players seeing the same number of flops, the extra points will be distributed using the mean formula.

At the end of the week, the player with the most points will take the prize pool which will be about €30.

It's just an idea in my head, but I would really like to be able to implement a solid system that would allow us to play for money within our restrictive time window. Any suggestions would be welcomed!

Scrap your 'points for seeing flop' etc ideas, madness and not part of a proper game.

Play a Turbo tournament like this.

    A. Have at least some money at stake, even 2 Euro per person, otherwise no-one need take the game seriously.

    B. Have a small-ish amount of chips each, say 1000 chips each.

    C. Have the blinds increase something like every 5/6 minutes (use the countdown timer on a mobile so that there is no argument.

    D. The blinds increase something like this
    25/50 ; 50/100; 100/200; 200/400; 300/600 ; 500/1000, 750/1500.
Its very very crapshooty, but you should have a winner by level6, or level7 at the latest.

    E. Obviously no rebuys or anything, when you are knocked out you are gone. As players get knocked out the game should speed up and you might get a massive 4/5 hands per level.

    F. Have 2 decks of cards, the first 2 people out deal the rest of the game which should speed it up.

    G. Encourage quick play pre-flop, no decision need take more than 5 seconds realistically.

    H. Say 80% of the prize fund for 1st, 20% for 2nd.

Its not an ideal structure  , but you should be able to complete a game in 35 minutes.

    AJs.
